Who Does the Work
We're not a big firm with sales reps and subcontractors. The four people below price, dig, lay and look after every job we take on, so you'll see the same faces from the first visit to the final sweep.
Mark Ellison, Founder & Lead Paver
Mark grew up in Wolverton and spent his early working years on groundwork gangs around Milton Keynes before starting the business. He prices every job himself and is on site for every dig-out, because he believes that's where a drive is won or lost. He still lives in Wolverton with his partner and their two boys, and you'll find him at the MK Dons most Saturdays.
Tony Rees, Groundworks Foreman
Tony runs the excavation, sub-bases, edging and drainage. He spent years on new-build sites before joining us, so he knows exactly how developer drives are put together and why so many of them sink. He's fussy about levels and compaction, and that's the point. Tony lives in Kempston.
Liam Doherty, Block Paver
Liam lays and cuts the blocks: herringbone patterns, borders, curves, and the fiddly cuts around drains, posts and doorsteps. He joined as a labourer and learned to lay from Mark, and the neat finish on our jobs is largely down to him. He's from Woburn Sands.
Jade Morley, Office & Quotes
Jade books site visits, sends quotes, orders the blocks and keeps everyone updated on start dates, especially when the weather has other ideas. If you call us, there's a good chance it's Jade who answers. She lives in Buckingham.
